Responsibilities include aiding with meals, monitoring vital signs, transporting patients, and supporting nursing staff in procedures while maintaining infection control and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of State Certified Program required.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience as a nursing student/foreign graduate nurse required.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance/supervision during activities of daily living for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Meets patient hygiene and grooming needs.
• Assists with mobility and transfer of patients.
• Maintains skin integrity and uses pressure-relief devices as needed.
• Provides patient comfort measures including bed making and positioning.
• Assists with elimination needs and urinary catheter care.
• Maintains a safe patient environment and responds to call bells promptly.
• Transports patients and documents vital signs and samples as directed.
• Prepares patients for procedures and assists with treatments and post-procedure care.
• Performs routine equipment checks and infection control practices.
