Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of State Certified Program required.
• 1-3 years clinical experience as nursing student/foreign graduate nurse required.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance/supervision during activities of daily living for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Meets hygiene and grooming needs including bathing, hair care, oral care.
• Assists with mobility and transfers; applies splints and braces as needed.
• Maintains skin integrity using turning, pressure relief devices, and ulcer care.
• Provides patient comfort measures: bed changes, positioning, and back rubs.
• Assists with elimination needs and catheter care; documents output.
• Maintains a safe environment; responds to call bells promptly.
• Admits patients, orients to unit, and manages patient belongings.
