Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a dedicated Nursing Aide to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and supervision. You will verify resident identity, administer care within authorized procedures, and maintain accurate flow sheets and charts.

You will report condition changes, assist with daily activities, ensure a warm, safe environment, and cooperate with staff to meet residents’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals as necessary.
• Report all changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts accurately and descriptively.
• Report accidents, incidents, and any exposure to blood/body fluids.
• Greet residents and escort them to their rooms; introduce residents to roommates and staff.
• Assist residents with daily functions (dental care, bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Check residents routinely to ensure personal care needs are met and privacy is maintained.
• Assist with arranging food placements for residents and record food/fluid intake.
• Transport residents within the facility and accompany them as needed.
• Follow established policies; cooperate with inter-departmental teams to meet resident needs.
