Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED and nurse aide training with competency evaluation approved by the State.
• Verification from State Nurse Aide Registry regarding abuse/neglect/misappropriation must be provided.
• Experience: Prior experience giving personal care to impaired individuals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care duties (bathing, feeding, ADLs) and assists with unsterile procedures.
• Makes beds and maintains clean, orderly environments; distributes nourishments.
• Maintains personal and oral hygiene of patients and supports resident independence.
• Assists with planning and evaluation of care plans; documents changes and FYI records.
