Job summary

Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors is seeking a compassionate Non-Medical Caregiver to support seniors in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, maintain independence and safety, and provide companionship as part of personalized care plans.

Responsibilities include personal hygiene assistance, light housekeeping, mobility support, errands, meal prep, and emotional support. Prior caregiving experience is welcome, with training provided and flexible scheduling available.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation required; a personal vehicle is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) background checks.
• Caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, dependability, and a caring attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to clients in their homes.
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe living environment.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Run errands including shopping and medication pick-ups as needed.
• Prepare simple meals and ensure adequate hydration and dietary reminders.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to encourage engagement in activities.
