Job summary

Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors is seeking a Non-Medical Caregiver to provide in-home support, helping seniors maintain independence, safety, and quality of life. Duties include personal care, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, errands, meal prep and companionship.

Applicants should be 18+, have reliable transport if possible, and can pass Colorado background checks. Compassion and strong communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation preferred; a personal vehicle is helpful but not required.
• Ability to pass Colorado background checks (CBI & CAPS).
• Caregiving experience is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn welcome.
• Strong communication, dependability, and a caring attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance with dignity and safety.
• Assist with light housekeeping to maintain a clean home environment.
• Help with mobility, transfers, fall prevention and safety awareness.
• Support shopping, errands, medication pickups and essential tasks.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and ensure hydration reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to encourage activity.
