Job summary

Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors is seeking a Non-Medical Caregiver to support seniors in their homes, promoting independence and safety. You will follow individualized care plans and provide personal care, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, shopping, meal prep, and companionship.

Strong communication, reliability, and compassion are essential to help clients maintain quality of life. Flexible scheduling and ongoing training opportunities are offered in a supportive home-care setting.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation is required; a personal vehicle is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass Colorado background checks (CBI and CAPS).

Responsibilities

• Provide standby assistance with showering and bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, hair care, and nail care for non-diabetic clients.
• Help maintain a clean and safe living environment with light housekeeping tasks.
• Assist clients with walking, transfers, fall prevention, and general mobility support.
• Assist with grocery shopping, medication pick-ups, and other essential errands.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and hydrate clients as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to encourage engagement in daily activities.
