Job summary

Mercy Health's St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Night shift, 36 scheduled hours per week. The role supports patients under RN guidance, assists with basic care, and ensures room cleanliness. BLS preferred, multiple nursing aide credentials acceptable, with EPIC charting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must complete one of the listed nursing aide credentials.
• BLS certification preferred and must be obtained prior to direct patient care.
• Experience in acute care or long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including vital signs and hygiene.
• Assist with mobility and activities of daily living.
• Report changes to the nurse and document care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EPIC system.
• Ensure patient room sanitation and comfort.
