Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office environment and multitasking across tasks.
• Ability to communicate professionally on calls, text, and email.
• Familiarity with front office procedures and insurance verification processes.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and PHI/HIPAA considerations.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

• Processing referrals from clients' insurance using established protocols.
• Reviewing client information for completeness and accuracy.
• Updating insurance information for existing patients.
• Scheduling sessions by calling patients with insurance authorization.
• Answering phone calls professionally and resolving inquiries.
• Identifying patient needs and providing effective resolutions.
• Handling and resolving service-related complaints.
• Escalating priority issues to senior management when needed.
• Filling out call notes and maintaining reports in the database.
• Evaluating relevant data to address complaints and queries.
• Engaging in training and research on therapist specializations and availability.
• Keeping service information up-to-date and related billing documents.
• Switching between multiple programs within the database.
