Job summary

MBK Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician for a Full-Time shift (6:00am–2:30pm, Tue–Sat) with pay $20.00–$21.00 per hour. The role focuses on safe medication administration, resident care, and documentation, in a supportive hospitality-driven environment.

The successful candidate will have 1+ year of relevant healthcare experience and be CPR/First Aid certified, with a commitment to MBK’s standards and resident-centered service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• State regulations may require specific certification or education.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with their daily medications, treatments, and resident care as assigned and within policy and government regulations.
• Notify Supervisor if prescribed medication is not administered as directed and document reasons.
• Maintain clear, accurate, confidential records on resident medication and care.
• Track orders for medication changes and/or refills; notify pharmacy of new orders.
• Assist caregivers in the performance of their job duties by fulfilling caregiver responsibilities.
• Document information and communicate any resident condition changes to a supervisor immediately.
• Respond to emergencies and resident alerts promptly; maintain safety standards.
• Understand and comply with Federal, State, and local regulations and MBK policies.

Education
