Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to provide medication administration and supportive daily care to residents under nursing supervision. The role emphasizes person-centered care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and maintaining residents’ dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include observing for medication effects, documenting in the health record, and assisting with mealtimes and activities.

Qualifications

• Current CMT certification in the state of practice.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification and first aid training; willingness to work with residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers medication under the direction of nursing staff and within scope of practice.
• Documents vital signs and care activities in the resident’s health record.
• Observes residents for side effects and drug interactions; reports changes to nursing staff.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living and personal care while promoting independence.
• Maintains privacy and adheres to HIPAA requirements; knocks on doors before entering.
• Responds to incoming calls and supports care planning discussions with the team.
