Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Medication Technician (CNA) to provide medication administration for residents. You will take orders, document them, receive medications, and administer medications, while maintaining high standards of nursing care and safety.

The role requires a Certified Nurse's Aide or completion of the 75-hour course and the company's Medication Administration course; ability to lift 50 lbs regularly is also needed.

Qualifications

• Requires CNA certification or completion of the 75-hour course plus the facility's Medication Administration course.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis or multiple times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication administration for residents.
• Takes orders, documents orders, receives medications, and administers medications.
• Performs nursing procedures such as taking vital signs and other basic care tasks.
• Maintains universal precautions and hazardous chemical safety procedures.
• Communicates with physicians and other health care professionals to ensure accurate orders.
• Alerts supervisor and medical team to changes in residents' status.
