St. Mark Village in Palm Harbor, Florida is seeking a Medication Technician to assist residents with self‑administered medications under nurse supervision and to monitor responses.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, safety, and compassionate care in a supportive community. The position offers competitive hourly pay between $16.25 and $20.50, with shift differentials and opportunities for part-time or full-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Florida Medication Technician Certification is required.
• Active CPR Certification preferred; on-site training may be provided.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Must be able to produce a negative drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with self‑administration of prescribed medications under nurse supervision and document accurately.
• Monitor residents for medication responses; take vital signs as directed and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Support residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, ambulation, hydration, meals, and safe transfers while promoting independence.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and uphold resident rights, confidentiality, infection control, and safety standards; report incidents promptly.
