Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a part-time Medication Technician to assist residents with daily medications in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will monitor responses and maintain electronic records under supervision, supporting licensed nurses with admin tasks.

This role is ideal for candidates aiming to become licensed nurses, requiring reliability, empathy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment with strong hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility.
• C.N.A. License in states where required.
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

Responsibilities

• Administer Medications and Provide Personal Care: Follow physician’s orders and community guidelines for administering routine medications and providing assistance with ADL care as needed
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate medical records and report any reactions or medication refusals to the licensed nurse.
• Vital Sign Monitoring: Take resident vital signs and observe any responses or side effects.
• Shift Communication: Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
• Customer Satisfaction: Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided resulting in overall customer satisfaction
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all resident rights, state, and federal regulations, including infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines.
