Addington Place at College Harbor in Saint Petersburg, FL, seeks a Medication Technician Assistant to support residents by safely administering medications and assisting with daily needs. The role reports to the Wellness Director or designee and offers multiple shifts.

Certified and experienced in medication assistance is preferred, with a focus on compassionate, reliable care for older adults. Benefits include structured training and a team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized by the state governing authority to assist or administer medication.
• Meet state assisted living medication assistant guidelines.
• Preferably experience in medication assistance with older adults.
• Demonstrates organizational skills and a mature, friendly personality.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication under RN/LPN supervision.
• Verify resident identity and record drug details on forms.
• Present medication and monitor ingestion or application.
• Take vital signs and report any reactions to designated personnel.
• Document care and maintain medical records per policies.
• Administer via oral, topical, eye, ear, nose, rectal, transdermal, sublingual routes.
• Record and restock medication inventory as needed.
• Provide bed/bath assistance and support daily resident activities.
