Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Medication Technician dedicated to supporting residents in a caring, compliant environment. The role involves administering medications within the license scope and delivering daily resident care per the care plan.

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will document medication administration, monitor effectiveness and side effects, and assist with personal care and meal support to residents in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.
• Ability to administer medications within the scope of your license and provide resident care as directed by the care plan.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a licensed nurse, assist and administer medications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and observe for side effects.
• Provide personal care activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, skin care).
• Assist in dining rooms and monitor residents during meals.
• Encourage participation in activities and socialization.
• Observe and report health or behavioral changes to the nurse.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and courteously.
• Promote a safe, infection-controlled environment.
