Job summary

Trustwell Living at Kingswood Place in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Lead Medication Aide/Resident Care Coordinator to oversee daily resident care, mentor the care team, and coordinate scheduling under the Health Services Director’s guidance.

You will manage medication assistance, support care plans, and collaborate with physicians and pharmacies to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance. Flexibility for evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Arizona Assisted Living Caregiving Certification with Nurse Delegation is required.
• State certifications or eligibility to obtain them are required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Compassionate, dependable and team‑oriented approach is needed.
• Ability to lead, support and motivate others.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and occasional nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily resident care and support individualized care plans.
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, transferring, eating, and medication assistance.
• Assist with clinical staff scheduling to ensure resident needs are met.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of care team members.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the care team and participate in Manager on Duty responsibilities.
• Support medication management and resident care in the absence of the Health Services Director.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help maintain high standards of care.
• Document and report resident or community concerns and assist with investigations as needed.
• Promote resident dignity, satisfaction, independence, and overall quality of life.
• Ensure care is delivered in accordance with applicable regulations and community standards.

As aLead Medication Aide/Resident Care Coordinator at Trustwell Living, you’ll help ensure our residents receive exceptional, personalized care while supporting and coordinating our Resident Care Partner team.
