Job summary

Milestone is seeking a Medication Aide/Tech to manage medications and assist with ADLs for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will follow service plans, communicate with medical staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include passing meds per physician orders, documenting progress, and supporting team collaboration to maintain high-quality resident care and well-being.

Qualifications

• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Supervisory experience in health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and translate to MARs.
• Understanding of medical terminology to administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Follow resident service plans and pass medications as ordered.
• Document daily tasks and observed changes in residents' conditions.
• Communicate resident needs with other Medication Aides for consistency.
• Assist with meal service including serving and dining room upkeep.
• Supervise staff during shifts and maintain training compliance.
• Maintain certifications and participate in ongoing training.
