Job summary

Milestone Retirement is seeking a Medication Aide/Tech to manage medications and support Activities of Daily Living for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will follow each resident’s service plan, communicate with medical professionals and families, and help ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of caregiving experience.
• Ability to read physician orders and match them to MARs.
• Understanding of medical terminology for medications.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Must be 18+ and meet health requirements (TB clearance).
• Certifications as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications per physician orders and MARs.
• Document daily task completion and resident changes.
• Communicate resident needs with other staff for consistent care.
• Assist in meal service and dining room duties.
• Supervise staff during shifts.
• Maintain certifications and attend ongoing training.
• Comply with regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, Blood Borne Pathogen).
• Report elder maltreatment to supervisors.
• Foster a safe work environment while supporting teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
