Job summary

Peaceful Pines Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to support residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and uphold dignity and respect in all interactions.

Responsibilities include accurate MAR documentation, communicating with nursing leadership, and collaborating with care teams to ensure safe, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in South Dakota as a Medication Aide or willing to complete on-the-job training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and service-minded.
• Ability to provide care with patience, empathy, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
• Document medication administration and treatment completion in MAR and other systems.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and overall response.
• Communicate changes to nursing leadership and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Maintain proper storage and security of medications per state regulations and policy.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and support a safe, dignified environment.
