Job summary

Peaceful Pines Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to support residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will administer medications and assist with daily living activities, delivering care with compassion and respect.

Responsibilities include documenting MAR entries, collaborating with nursing staff, and ensuring safe storage of medications under state regulations. The role requires a SD license and flexibility for weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Licensed in South Dakota as a Medication Aide.
• Must submit to a TB test per state regulations.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and organizational information.
• Follow all company policies, procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Document medication administration in the MAR and other records.
• Communicate medication-related concerns to nursing leadership.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to support continuity of care.
