Peaceful Pines Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to support residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. You will administer prescribed meds, assist with daily living activities, and document care with compassion and accuracy.

You will collaborate with nursing leadership to monitor outcomes, ensure safety, and protect resident dignity. The role emphasizes person-centered care and respectful, empathetic interactions daily.

Qualifications

• Licensed in SD as Medication Aide; willingness to complete on-the-job training if not licensed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities tailored to senior care.
• Commitment to person-centered, respectful, and safe resident care.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a Registered Nurse per state regulations.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery and documentation in MAR.
• Monitor residents for effects and communicate changes to nursing leadership.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to support continuity of care.
• Maintain proper storage and security of medications per policy.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and daily living tasks as trained.
• Support resident dignity, independence, and meaningful daily experiences.
