Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Medication Technician to administer medications and provide personal care for residents in a licensed assisted living setting. You will ensure MARs/TARs compliance, manage med carts, and support daily activities, meals, and safety.

The role requires interaction with residents, documentation, and adherence to regulatory guidelines; nursing supervision is provided as needed. Training and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must be able to administer medications under supervision per MAR/TAR.
• Ability to perform ADLs and provide personal care.
• Familiarity with MARs, TARs, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medication in Assisted Living per regulations and guidelines.
• Count and sign narcotics with authorized personnel before medication keys.
• Prepare and order medications and treatments from pharmacy or notify responsible party when supply is low.
• Notify supervisor when stock is low and not received.
• Receive and verify medicines per pharmacy label and MAR; report discrepancies.
