Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to administer medications and provide nursing care to residents in a Senior Living community. You will follow MAR/TAR, ensure proper medication storage, and assist with ADLs and daily activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ months of experience in senior living preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties and respond to emergencies.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per MAR and TAR.
• Provide personal and nursing care, including ADLs, bathing, grooming and eating.
• Document information in daily logs and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain medication storage, perform cart cleaning and inspections.
• Assist residents, respond to calls, and support activities of daily living.
