Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Texas is seeking a dedicated Caregiver/CNA to provide compassionate daily care to residents in a supportive environment. You will assist with medications, daily living activities, and engage residents in meaningful social and recreational activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Caregiver or CNA in a residential or long-term care setting.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Must complete Medication Aide training (and certification in states where required).

Responsibilities

• Provides medication assistance for residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy.
• Maintains the medication cart and storage room in a neat and orderly manner.
• Ensures accurate medication counts and security of the cart and storage room.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transfers, mobility).
• Engages residents in conversation, socialization, and activities while providing care and medication assistance.
• Responds promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Upholds Residents’ Rights and company policies.
• Observes changes in residents' condition and reports to a licensed nurse.
• Completes documentation such as MARs, incident reports, and change of condition reports.
• Assists in dining room during meal times and encourages participation in activities.
• Supports housekeeping responsibilities as needed.
