Sanford is seeking a bedside caregiver to provide care and services in a nursing or assisted living setting in Ottumwa, IA. The role includes medication administration, daily living assistance, and adherence to location standards.

You will participate in maintaining residents’ health and well-being, take vital signs, assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, and meals, while following safety guidelines and SDS procedures. This full or part-time role supports resident comfort and safety.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED may be required depending on the state.
• Must complete and maintain medication administration training per state guidelines.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and mobility.

Mansioni

• Assist residents with self-administration of medications.
• May administer medications with proper training.
• Assist residents in maintaining proper appearance and cleanliness.
• Help residents with bathing and personal hygiene.
• Support toileting needs and dressing.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning and walking.
• Take and report vital signs and changes in health status.
• Follow OSHA/CDC guidelines and aseptic techniques.
• Use safe chemical handling; follow SDS guidelines.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks following orders and regulations.
• Handle linens and laundry; clean residents' rooms and bathrooms.
• Participate in community involvement and work with volunteers.
