Job summary

Heath House seeks a dedicated Medication Aide to safely administer medications, monitor residents, and support the nursing team in maintaining wellness and dignity. Strong attention to detail and reliable teamwork are essential.

You will ensure proper storage and documentation, assist with basic care under supervision, and help uphold infection control and regulatory standards in a compassionate senior living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state-approved Medication Aide training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare/senior living/long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration; excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: prepare, administer, and document medications per orders and protocols; monitor for adverse effects.
• Health Monitoring: observe and report changes in health, measure vital signs as needed; assist with basic healthcare tasks under supervision.
• Resident Engagement: build positive relationships with residents and encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control protocols and keep medication carts and records organized and secure.
