Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living in Kendallville, IN is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide attentive support to residents across our memory care and assisted living communities. You will monitor residents, assist with daily activities, and help maintain safety and dignity.

This role includes medication tech duties under supervision, documentation, and collaborating with nurses. CNA certification preferred; HS diploma required; 18+; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification is preferred.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift and monitoring their well-being.
• Observes, reports and documents residents' symptoms and changes in condition.
• Responds to call bells and notifies supervisor if increased care needs arise.
• Assists with continence management and maintains sanitation.
• Provides meal service and assists with activities of daily living as needed.
• Greets and assists residents, family members, and visitors and maintains a clean environment.
