Job summary

LakeHouse Manitowoc is seeking compassionate caregivers and medication techs to support our senior living residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care environments. You will provide direct resident care, monitor health needs, assist with daily activities, and ensure safety and dignity in daily routines.

Medication support includes observing and documenting medications, restocking, and collaborating with nurses to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift; check on them regularly.
• Observe, report and document residents' symptoms and conditions.
• Respond to call bells and notify supervisor if care needs increase.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation).
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas; promote dignity and safety.
• Assist with medications under the Six Rights of Medication Pass; restock carts and document appropriately.
