Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Care Giver to join our team in serving residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care settings. You will monitor residents, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, dignified environment.

Ideal candidates include a High School diploma or GED, CNA certification preferred, and CPR/First Aid certifications. Prior experience with seniors is preferred, and 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Experience caring for seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift and check on them regularly.
• Observe, report, and document residents’ symptoms and conditions.
• Respond promptly to security systems and resident call bells.
• Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation of rooms and restrooms.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding; report refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms and work areas.
• Promote dignity, independence, and safety for residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living as instructed and engage residents in activities.
• Greet and assist residents, families, and coworkers; perform resident laundry as needed.
