Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our weekend shifts from 6am to 2pm. You will provide direct care to residents, assist with daily activities, monitor health indicators, and ensure a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include helping with meals, documenting conditions, and collaborating with nurses and health care coordinators to support residents’ well-being. Prior experience with seniors preferred; CNA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred and basic caregiving skills.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR certification preferred; First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during shift; check on residents frequently.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions and document findings.
• Respond promptly to call bells and notify supervisor for increased care needs.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of rooms and restrooms.
• Serve and collect meals, report refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote independence and safety.
• Greet and assist residents, family members, guests, and vendors.

Skills

CNA certification

High School diploma

Must be 18

CPR certification preferred

First Aid certification preferred
