Job summary

LakeHouse Coldwater is seeking a dedicated Care Giver and Medication Tech to support residents in a compassionate senior living community. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health and comfort, and help ensure safe, dignified care.

Key responsibilities include observing residents, assisting with meals and hygiene, administering medications under supervision, and maintaining clean, safe environments. Prior experience with seniors is preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift and monitor their wellbeing.
• Observe, report and document residents' symptoms and conditions.
• Respond promptly to security systems and resident call bells.
• Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation in rooms and restrooms.
• Serve meals, report refusals or loss of appetite and help with activities of daily living.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and assist with laundry as needed.
• Support medication administration and document doses according to policy.
• Count narcotics with another staff member each shift and restock carts.
