Traditions Management is seeking a QMA to administer medications to residents and provide essential support to maintain quality of life. You will document, monitor, and communicate needs while ensuring privacy and safety.

You will follow state regulations and facility policies, perform vital signs, and coordinate with licensed nurses for escalations. The role emphasizes accuracy, compassion, and teamwork within a residential care setting.

Formación

• Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
• Must complete annual medication evaluation with Registered Pharmacy Consultant.
• Current QMA certificate for the current state.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and administer prescribed medications and document administration.
• Provide support, monitoring and communication to residents to maintain independence.
• Keep medication cart secured and maintain clean storage and records.
• Take vital signs and document appropriately; report needs to charge nurse when applicable.
• Order medications from pharmacy per physician orders and comply with HIPAA.
