Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Park River, ND is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. This PRN role requires CNA certification and experience in long-term care where available.

Travel within 75 miles of the permanent address is required. Premium pay rates apply for all hours worked plus weekend and evening/night shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual continuing education credits as required by state.
• May require valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the charge nurse.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care, medication administration, and patient responses; communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, dining, and hygiene; support wellness and recreational activities.
• May participate in committees and ongoing training as needed.
