Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse's supervision.

You will administer prescribed medications per state regulations, document outcomes, assist with bathing, grooming, meals, and activity participation. Travel within a 75-mile radius to support multiple locations; PRN scheduling with minimum 30 hours per month and at least one weekend shift per month.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Maintains annual continuing education credits; minimum 12 hours per year.
• State CMA/TMA certification requirements vary by state; must have CMA/TMA where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document outcomes related to resident care, medications, and vital signs.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, transferring, and mobility.
• Support dining activities and resident participation in wellness programs.
