Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a Medication Assistant to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse. You will administer prescribed medications as delegated, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the charge nurse.

This PRN role requires travel to support multiple locations within a 75-mile radius, a minimum of 30 hours per month, and at least one weekend shift per month, with premium pay for all hours and shift

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Must complete annual competency testing and continuing education credits as required by state.

Responsibilities

Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of a charge nurse.
Administer prescribed medications as delegated and document outcomes.
Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
Assist with transfers, mobility, bathing, grooming, and dining support.
Perform housekeeping and laundry duties to keep living areas clean.
Support wellness and recreational programs and participate in committees as needed.
