Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) in Mandan, ND for PRN shifts with travel to nearby locations within 75 miles. You will administer medications, assist residents with daily living, monitor vital signs, and document care under a charge nurse's supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and CMA/CNA certifications as required by state. Premium pay and weekend/evening differentials apply, with variable shifts and a 30-hour minimum per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CMA/CNA certifications per state requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications under supervision.
• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Records vital signs and documents care outcomes.
• Assists with transfers, range of motion, and mobility.
• Supports meals, dining, housekeeping and activity participation.
