Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance at Mandan, ND, with travel to support multiple locations within a 75-mile radius. The role includes administering prescribed medications under a nurse's supervision and maintaining accurate documentation of care and vital signs.

The MA helps with daily living activities, meals, and hydration, participates in wellness programs, and communicates any changes to the charge

Qualifications

• 3 months long-term care experience required (6 months preferred).
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• CNA certification required per state regulations (varies by state).

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document outcomes related to resident care and vital signs.
• Assist with meals, dining, and hydration.
