Job summary

Silver Birch Living is seeking a compassionate Qualified Medication Assistant (QMA) to join the Clinical Team in Fort Wayne. You will support residents’ health, safety, and daily care needs by assisting with medications and personal care, ensuring residents feel cared for, respected, and supported every day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0
• QMA certification in good standing.
• Insulin certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Prior healthcare or senior living experience helpful.
• Ability to maintain required training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care needs including ADLs per individualized care plans.
• Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Observe residents and report condition changes to Wellness Nurse and clinical team.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and team members.
• Work closely with the Wellness team to support clinical operations and resident needs.
