Job summary

Silver Birch Living of Fort Wayne North is seeking a compassionate and dependable Qualified Medication Assistant (QMA) to join our Clinical Team. You’ll support residents’ health, safety, and daily care needs by assisting with medications and personal care.

You’ll help ensure residents feel cared for, respected, and supported every day. The role offers benefits and opportunities to grow within a close-knit team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior healthcare or senior living experience is helpful.
• Current QMA certification in good standing.
• Insulin certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to maintain required training and certifications.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Comfort using electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care needs, including ADLs, per care plans.
• Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments as directed.
• Observe residents and report changes to Wellness Nurse and clinical team.
• Document care and services accurately in the electronic health record.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests; provide friendly service.
• Work closely with the Wellness team to support clinical operations and resident needs.
