Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Maryland Easton clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team, providing compassionate clinical and administrative support, guiding clients through their visit, assisting providers during exams, and ensuring every individual feels respected and informed about reproductive health choices.

This .8 FTE role runs 8:30am–5pm Mon, Wed, and Thu, and 7:30am–4pm Fri (Easton Health Center closed Tue).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient clinical setting OR 2 years of front/back office MA duties in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent customer service, time management, and communication skills with non-judgmental patient interactions.
• Preferred CMA credential, ultrasound experience, and knowledge of Epic EMR.
• Bonus: bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential clinical and administrative support for efficient center operations.
• Guide clients through visits and assist providers during exams to ensure quality care.
• Maintain a welcoming, non-judgmental patient experience and informed consent.
• Manage front and back-office tasks and navigate Epic EMR for appointments and records
