Baystate Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care through room preparation, patient intake, and clinical assistance under provider direction. The role includes vital sign measurement, basic phlebotomy, and documentation in the CIS system.

Preferred candidates will have an accredited MA program and 3+ years of MA experience, with certifications such as ARMA, AMT, CCMA, AAMA, or NCCT. This position emphasizes teamwork and adherence to patient confidentiality and safety

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 3+ years current MA experience in medical practice preferred.
• Certification preferred: ARMA, AMT, CCMA, AAMA, or NCCT.

Responsabilidades

• Interview patients and measure vital signs.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist providers with procedures.
• Perform EKG, immunizations, and point-of-care testing as directed.
• Document patient information accurately in CIS/EMR.
• Schedule follow-ups, referrals, and patient education materials.
