Job summary

Under supervision, you will prepare patients for procedures, assist with vaccines and medications, document requests, and help manage patient flow while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Associates Degree Medical Assistant Preferred or
• Diploma Program Medical Assistant Preferred
• 1 year Medical Assistant experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required at hire
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents reason for visit and patient vital signs
• Collects specimens as directed and logs before lab transportation
• Ensures patient care areas are stocked and equipment is up-to-date
• Prepares patients for scheduled procedures and applies Standard Precautions
• Assists with vaccines and medications under supervision as qualified
• Documents prescription requests and refills per protocol
• Assists during visits and enters information into the patient record
• Manages daily patient flow and supports care team activities
• Maintains confidentiality and completes required training
