Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is growing its Primary Care team at Mt. Auburn and seeks a Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality, direct patient care in a team-based model.

The role supports both administrative and clinical operations to ensure smooth patient flow. You will assist patients during visits, support population health goals through outreach and health coaching, and perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and immunizations under MA certification.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant status required for immunizations.
• Experience in patient flow and care coordination.
• Ability to work in a team-based primary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Builds long-term empathetic relationships with patients and families to support care goals.
• Assists during visits: manages flow, updates meds/allergies, notes visit reason and PHQ-9 responses.
• Communicates clearly with patient and team, handing off to provider with relevant info.
