Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for BILH Primary Care to support high-quality, safe clinical care in a collaborative team.

You will take patient vitals, document history in EMR, and provide information to patients and families while assisting providers to ensure timely care. Prior MA education/certifications or 5+ years experience preferred; BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, and one of: 1) Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program OR 2) Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA) OR 3) Minimum of 5 years' MA experience
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Take patient vital signs and document medical history in EMR
• Provide patients and families medical information to support satisfaction and understanding
