Job summary

Qualifications

• High School / GED or completion of medical assistant program.
• Certification training within 30 days of hire and certification within 120 days.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care under supervision using a team-based approach.
• Prepare and room patients, record vital signs, and document history and screenings.
• Review and update medication lists in the EHR and coordinate orders per protocol.
• Perform back office testing and assist with examinations and procedures.
• Document accurately in the EHR and support clerical duties as needed.
