Qualifications

• Successful completion of a medical assistant program accredited by CAAHP or ABHES.
• Must obtain CMA, RMA, NCMA, CMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or NPCE MA within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory abuse prevention training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in Windows, email, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through preparation, vital signs, and documentation.
• Assist with procedures, exams, and diagnostic equipment while maintaining aseptic technique.
• Administer medications and immunizations under provider direction.
• Prepare and organize patient charts and ensure documentation is complete.
• Coordinate scheduling, tests, labs, imaging, and referrals; manage patient follow-ups.
