Job summary

CenterWell Port Arthur is seeking a Medical Assistant 2 to serve as the first point of contact for patient care and handle administrative duties alongside clinical duties. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM, located in Port Arthur, TX, within Humana’s CenterWell network.

The role requires MA training or CMA/Registered status, current CPR, and a high school diploma. TB screening is part of the process; bilingual English/Spanish speakers have an advantage.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an MA training program or be a certified/registered Medical Assistant.
• Current/Active CPR Certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• This role is patient facing and part of the TB screening program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patient care.
• Perform administrative and operational duties in addition to patient care.
• Complete computations and semi-routine assignments.
