Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of MA program and externship or MA internship; or EMT/Paramedic program; or certified athletic trainer.
• MA non-credentialed path requires active EMT/Paramedic license in Michigan and current CPR.

Responsibilities

• Indirect work support and task management.
• Test tracking.
• Performs moderate to complex gaps in care.
• Provide support within scope and prior authorizations.
• Quality control, lab logs, practice audits.
• OSHA safety representative: keeps protocols and staff updated.
• Transcribes patient exam information, diagnosis and plan into medical record.
• Assists with specialty specific tasks after completion of training.
