Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers and deliver high-quality patient care. You will welcome patients, document histories, assist with exams, and help coordinate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved MA program or externship/internship.
• EMT or Paramedic training considered.
• MA certification or eligibility preferred; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
